Delete your Squid ERP account

This page explains how to ask SQUID ERP, the publisher of the Squid ERP apps for Android and iOS, to delete your Squid ERP account and the data linked to it. User accounts for the app are created by your company’s administrator for its workspace; the app itself does not create accounts. You do not need to have the app installed to make a request.

Request deletion

Email us from the address on your account. The button opens a pre-filled message; add your details and send it.

Request deletion by email

If the button does not open your email app, send an email to hello@squiderp.com with the subject “Squid ERP account deletion request”.

1. What to include

  • The email address of the account you want deleted.
  • Your company’s tenant (workspace) name, or the business name if you are not sure.
  • Whether you want only your own user account deleted, or the whole company tenant (only the tenant owner or an administrator can ask for this).
Never send your password, a verification code, or an access token. We do not need them to process your request and we will never ask for them.

2. How we verify your request

To protect your account from requests made by someone else, we confirm every request before acting on it:

  • We reply to the email address on the account and ask you to confirm the request. If you wrote from a different address, we contact the address on the account.
  • For a tenant deletion, we confirm with the tenant owner or an administrator of that tenant.
  • If needed, we may ask for one more verification step, such as confirming details about the account. We never ask for your password.

3. What is deleted

Your own user account

We close your sign-in account and remove or anonymize the personal profile details we hold for it (such as your name, email address, and phone number), except where something must be kept for a reason listed in section 4.

Your company is the controller of its ERP data. Business records your company keeps in its tenant, such as orders you entered, deliveries you signed for, or files you attached, belong to the company and are not deleted when only your login is deleted. To have those records changed or removed, contact your company’s administrator; we may also forward your request to them.

Your company’s whole tenant

Only the tenant owner or an administrator can ask for this. Deleting a tenant permanently removes its workspace: the tenant’s business data, the user accounts in it, its hosted workspace application, and its sign-in configuration. This cannot be undone, so ask us for an export first if you need a copy of your data.

Data on your device

The app keeps some data on your device for offline use. Uninstalling the app removes it from that device.

4. What we may keep

We may keep a limited set of records after deletion, only for as long as needed and only for these purposes:

  • Billing, invoice, and payment records needed for tax and accounting obligations.
  • Records needed to prevent fraud, keep the service secure, and maintain audit logs.
  • Records we must keep to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

When we confirm your deletion, we tell you in writing what was deleted and what was kept, and why.

5. When it is completed

We complete deletion within 45 days of a verified request, and we email you a confirmation when it is done.
