Terms and Conditions
Effective May 12, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SquidERP platform, marketing site, customer portal, and hosted tenant subdomains (*.squiderp.net), collectively the “Service.” By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for safeguarding your password. Administrators of a tenant may grant, modify, or revoke access for users in that tenant.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Upload content that is malicious, infringing, defamatory, or that contains sensitive personal data we have not agreed to process.
- Use the SMS program described below for any messaging other than the transactional purposes for which you provided consent.
4. SMS / text messaging program
Program name: SquidERP Notifications.
Description: The SquidERP Notifications program is used by SquidERP and SquidERP tenants to send transactional text messages to users and customers who have provided a mobile phone number. Typical messages include account invitations, two-factor authentication codes, password and account-security notifications, and order or shipment updates. SquidERP does not use this program for marketing or promotional content.
Call to Action — how users opt in. A mobile phone number is only added to a SquidERP account at one of the following touchpoints, and the consent disclosure shown below appears at that touchpoint before any SMS is sent:
- Administrator-added user.A tenant administrator enters the user’s mobile number from inside their SquidERP tenant and must confirm the user has agreed to receive transactional SMS (account invitations, verification codes, account-security alerts) before the record can be saved.
- Customer-provided number for order updates. An end customer of a SquidERP tenant submits their phone number at checkout or order entry on a form operated by that tenant. The form displays the consent disclosure below and the customer must confirm before the order can be submitted.
- User-enabled two-factor authentication. A signed-in user enables SMS-based 2FA from their account settings and enters and verifies their mobile number. The consent disclosure appears on the same screen and the user must verify the number with a code before SMS 2FA is activated.
Consent disclosure shown at each opt-in point:
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from SquidERPrelated to account access, verification codes, invitations, and order updates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.
Sample messages:
- “You have been invited to join Squid. Accept your invitation: https://acme.squiderp.net/accept-invite?token=…”
- “382914 is your verification Code”
- “Acme Wholesale: order #SO-1042 confirmed for $432.10. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”
- “Acme Wholesale: order #SO-1042 has shipped. Tracking: https://ship.example.com/T12345”
- “Acme Wholesale: you’re now opted in to order updates. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.”
Message frequency: Frequency is not fixed; it varies based on your account activity (for example, each invitation, each sign-in attempt that triggers two-factor authentication, and each order or shipment event configured by an administrator).
Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan with your carrier.
Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Help: For help with the SMS program, reply HELP to any message or email hello@squiderp.com.
Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further SMS. After replying STOP you will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts. To resume, sign in to your account and re-enter your mobile phone number, or reply START.
Privacy: No mobile information is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties for marketing under any circumstances. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle personal information.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle you select (monthly or annual). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on renewal with at least 30 days’ notice to account administrators.
6. Your data
You retain ownership of data you submit to the Service. You grant SquidERP a limited license to host, process, and transmit that data solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide any personal data of third parties (including mobile phone numbers of your customers) and to instruct us to send messages to them.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may schedule maintenance windows and will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice for planned downtime.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the customer portal. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. On termination we will retain your data for a reasonable export period and then delete it.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SquidERP’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the fees you paid to SquidERP in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced to account administrators by email and posted with a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SquidERP is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located in that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@squiderp.com.
